We’re two students travelling around the islandon a low budget and would like to stay in your lodge for a night for the cheapest rates:) we’re in cabarete at the moment and would like to stay from the 10.01.13 till the 11th.have u got vacancy?and r there guahguas going up there?

Even as natives of the Dominican Republic, we were pleasantly surprised with the simple but wonderful Tubagua Eco Lodge facilities and with the kind attentions of their owners, Tim and Beatrice, his family and his team, which is also part of the family.

The breathtaking view of the north coast, the right balance between simplicity and convenience of facilities, in harmony with nature, the green surroundings and the pleasant climate, create an atmosphere of peace that can not be properly described through words or images.

Moreover, the delicious and healthy food prepared by Jackie, a beautiful and graceful typical Dominican woman, the excellent support of Juanín in the excursion to the natural pools, the pleasant company of hosts and other guests at the evening gatherings, make the human factor be an important component in our satisfaction with the service received.

If you love nature, stay in Tubagua Eco Lodge is in itself an interesting activity. It is one of the few places where we really enjoyed everything, even literally “do nothing”.

Thanks for a fruitful and entertaining few weeks of great views, good food, companionship, and the occasional sip of rum or Presidente. The Eco Lodge makes a good writing retreat, and I certainly added a few words to my tally. Thanks to Arturo who goes there every year, he made our day absolutely beyond belief and relaxing. Tim and his family are all awwesome. Jackie, you are one fantastic cook. We did not stay stay the night but would love to do so in the future. We did not know a place like this even existed. Heaven on earth.
